With the recent wave of social unrest amidst ongoing racial violence and a global health pandemic, it is more important than ever to have a deeper understanding of structural inequality and its impacts. In this session Dr. Brian Lozenski will explore how education, race, policing, and economics work together to form a system that disadvantages certain communities. Attendees will have the chance to work together and discuss how we can organize to build a more just and truly pluralistic society.
This event will be hosted by the Rochester-Olmsted Youth Commission in partnership with Rochester Community Education Citizens Advisory Council
